  Ciao Bello! at Meadowbrook Inn

Ciao Bello!, one of the area's newest Italian restaurants, is the setting for the Blowing Rock Jazz Society's Second Sunday Concert series. On the second Sunday of every month, the BRJS hosts one of the finest jazz concerts you'll ever see starting at 7 p.m. The rest of the month enjoy the full bar, sports on the big screen and plenty of seating in a beautiful setting. Sorrento's Italian Bistro, located at the Banner Elk Village Shops, offers one of the few late-night venues in the Boone/Banner Elk area. Open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, Sorrento's offers a late-night menu and holds all liquor permits. Their Sunday Brunch also features Denny Slawn as live entertainment.   Woodlands Barbecue & Pickin' Parlor

Woodlands Barbecue and Picking Parlor is just what the name implies: A great, laidback joint where you can eat, drink and listen to some talented musicians. Upstairs at the restaurant you can hear free live music seven nights a week ranging from jazz to country to bluegrass.
