National Alert Registry Launches registeredoffenderslist.org To Provide Information On Registered Sex Offenders Helping to keep children safe, NAR increases parents’ awareness nationwide The National Alert Registry today announced that in an effort to further protect children from habitual sex offenders, it has launched a new Web site, www.RegisteredOffendersList.org, as a resource on child predation for parents and other responsible adults. In addition to information on how to protect children from sexual predators, www.RegisteredOffendersList.org provides easy access to detailed information about the locations of registered sex offenders across the country through its “Predator Report” service. The Predator Reports, also available at www.NationalAlertRegistry.com, provide concerned individuals with names, photos, appearance details, aliases, conviction information, offense dates, detailed maps and the street addresses of registered sex offenders who live in the subscriber’s immediate area. The National Alert Registry also provides a “Red Alert” service that notifies subscribers by email when new offenders move into their neighborhood. “Research shows that one in three girls and one in six boys will become a victim to a sexual predator, and people just aren’t taking the adequate precautions to protect them,” said Scott Adams, director of the National Alert Registry. “We felt it was important to provide a reliable and accurate medium for parents to become educated and aware of the possible threats in their area.
