All that ASU Jazz
Appalachian’s Jazz Ensemble II performs at Hayes Center Friday

Appalachian State University has a well earned reputation as one of the leading schools in jazz studies and performance in the Southeast. A quick listen to one of the Hayes School of Music’s many fine jazz ensembles will confirm the truth of that reputation.

ASU’s Jazz Ensemble II takes the stage at the Hayes Performing Arts Center in Blowing Rock February 15th.
ASU’s Jazz Ensemble II, under the direction of instructor Rod Berry, will present a night of big band jazz, classic swing music and romantic torch ballads. The concert will be held at the Mariam and Robert Hayes Performing Arts Center in Blowing Rock on Friday, February 15th starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.

ASU’s Jazz Ensemble II features the best in faculty and student jazz performers. The concert is part of an ongoing collaboration between the Hayes Performing Arts Center and ASU’s Hayes School of Music. More events will be added as dates are confirmed.
