Murder at Greystone Manor, a murder mystery
dinner theater event, will be presented at Appalachian State
University Nov. 5-8 at 7 p.m. The interactive show will take
place in 03 Edwin Duncan Hall.
The production is the annual Freshman Showcase presented by
Appalachians Department of Theatre and Dance.
Tickets are on sale now for $15 at the Valborg Theatre box office
and will be sold through Oct. 27. For information, contact the
Valborg Theatre Box Office at 828-262-3063 or visit www.theatre.appstate.edu.
Each performance seats only 60 people, so sellouts are expected.
Faculty member Gordon Hensley directs Murder at Greystone
Manor, which features an all-freshman cast and production
crew. During the presentation, C.D Weasel, a Hollywood producer/director
invites guests into his home for dinner and to view his latest
box office hit, Loves Foolish Parade. Audience
members will meet and greet Weasels eccentric and silly
guests while remembering that one of them is a killer. The audience
will look for clues, talk to witnesses and enjoy dinner while
solving a murder mystery.
Ticket prices include the show and a three-course meal. If a
vegetarian meal is preferred, please tell the ticket agent upon
purchase. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Parking for the event is available in the Raley and Duncan lots,
which are accessible from Rivers Street.
