 The
Bethel ACES (Active in Character Education and Service) group
recently visited Daniel Boone Park to learn about the problem
of cigarette butt litter. The seventh grade group collected
359 cigarette butts that had been left on the ground. Their
message to those who visit Daniel Boone Park is: “Please
pick up your butts!” Shown with plastic bags of cigarette
butts they collected are (not in order) Kayla Colbert, Larry
Deitrich, Trevor Eggers, Matthew Greene, Rachel Greene, Irene
Healy, Jacey James, Zach Moody, Luis Nunez, Hope Perry, Caleb
