Tickets are on sale for the 16th annual Hayes School of Music
Holiday Scholarship Concert at Appalachian State University.
The annual event ushers in the holiday season Friday, Dec.
5, at 7:30 p.m. in Farthing Auditorium. Tickets are $5. Children
age 6 and under will be admitted free. Tickets are available
at the Farthing Auditorium box office or by calling 828-262-4046.
The festive concert features the Brass Choir, Steely Pan Steel
Band, Gospel Choir, Jazz Vocal Ensemble, Woodwind Quintet, Men’s
Glee Club, Treble Choir, Flute Ensemble, University Singers,
Chamber Singers, Tuba Choir and the Appalachian Symphony Orchestra.
Holiday favorites on the program include “Sleigh Ride,”
“What Child Is This?,” “Carol of the Bells,”
“Winter Wonderland” and more.
Program sponsorships at $100 are also available. Sponsors
receive a listing in the program and two tickets to the concert.
