The Blowing Rock Stage Companys
Teen Actors Guild will present a holiday show based
on remembrances of Christmases past.

The Teen Actors Guild (TAG) of Blowing Rock Stage Company
will be presenting an evening of Christmas stories collected
from local senior citizens. Members of TAG went into various
centers for senior citizens, including Appalachian Brian Estates,
and interviewed the residents inquiring about memorable Christmases
and Christmas traditions. Using their stories as inspiration,
TAG created and authored A Patchwork of Memories: Christmases
Unforgotten comprised of monologues, scenes, carols, and dances.
They hope to keep the memories of past Christmases alive while
creating new traditions for Christmases yet to come.
Join in the celebration on Tuesday December 9th at the Hayes
Performing Center in the upstairs venue as they spread
the holiday cheer! There will be two showings, one at 6:30pm
and another at 8pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students
under 25. Hot cider, wine and appetizers will be provided for
a true cozy cabaret experience.
Part of the proceeds will benefit the Watauga Youth
Network, Grandfather Home for Children, Rainbow Center and Crossnore
School.
