Toy drive set for ASU campus through Dec. 5

Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff at Appalachian State University is organizing a toy drive this holiday season.

Donations will benefit the Boone Optimist Club’s Santa’s Toy Box project, which collects toys for children in underprivileged families in Watauga County. For more information contact, Alison Nobrega at 828-262-6314.

Toys must be new and unwrapped. Toys are needed for children from 6 months to 15 years old.

The toy drive runs through Dec. 5. Toys can be dropped off on campus at the following locations: Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff, 12 Varsity Gym; Purchasing Office, Business Services Building, State Farm Road; Department of Technology, Harper Hall; Advancement Services, Third floor Founders Hall; Distance Learning Offices, Main Floor Belk Library, room 170; and ITS (Information Technology Service), First floor Raley Hall.
