Carlton Gallery’s Winter Exhibition in Full Swing
Foscoe gallery features holiday sale for gift givers

Blown glass sculpture by Greg Fidler.

Carlton Gallery’s 26th Winter Exhibition continues as the High Country prepares for a beautiful Holiday Season. Toni Carlton extends a heartfelt invitation to all to visit the gallery and view the art of the local and regional artists whose work represents the love, peaceful energy and Holiday Spirit inspired by this lovely time of year.

Jewelry is a highlight this time of year, and Carlton Gallery’s 26th Winter Exhibition features the work of jewelers Tana Acton, Channing Ayers, Ursula Shuler, Carol Francis Goode, Don Haywood, Zoe Nelson, Laura Fly and Mia Katrin. Gift givers will relish the opportunity to find just the perfect piece for that special someone after seeing the distinctive jewelry collection of the gallery’s talented designers. The diverse offerings suit any price range and feature varied techniques, styles, materials and designs.

Holiday shoppers can find artistic handcrafted gifts at Carlton Gallery. There is a great variety of wool hats, shawls, vests and cotton jackets. A rich array of scarves in a medley of colors, styles and textural varieties are sure to please and complement any ensemble. Hand turned wooden pens, magnifying glasses, bottle stoppers, candle holders with beautifully inlaid designs by Allen Davis or Robert Gunther’s intricate miniature wooden bowls are perfect for that hard to find gift for a man.

Light catching blown glass by Robinson Scott brings much cheer during the Holiday Season. The glass candelabra and candleholders of Fred Mead remind one of winter’s ice phenomenons – freezing and thawing. His sculptures made from recycled glass are a reflection of the light of the season. Brilliant candles with scents of pure and natural oils handcrafted by Chloe Ives add a festive ambience to any home. The pair of Greg Fidler’s “Swans” in blown glass symbolizes the music and love of the season.

Enjoy shopping for the Holidays in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere where one can find an amazing collection of fine art in all mediums, sculpture, jewelry, handmade crafts, woven works and pottery. Carlton Gallery offers personal service and attention. In gratitude to our loyal clients and as an additional boost to the economy, Carlton Gallery is having a Special Holiday Sale in which discounts of 10% to 33 1/3% are on selected items until December 31st.
