“Aargh! Six more weeks of winter.” So says the High Country’s very own posthumously prognosticating groundhog, Sugar Grove Slim, this year decked in pirate garb with the theme, “Woodchucks of the Caribbean.” On Feb. 2, Groundhog Day aficionado Jim Sparger conducted their annual visit to offices and restaurants in the High Country. Each year, the duo brings flowers to area workers and delivers Groundhog Day tidings.
