An all-star roster of High Country musicians is on tap for
a special concert at Flipside in Boone on Friday, February 13.
The funk and soul revue will feature Melissa Reaves, Andy Page,
Douglas James, Zack Page, Mike Runyon and Ben Bjorlie.
The band will perform a mix of funky originals and classic
rock cover tunes by the likes of Soulive, Dumpstaphunk, Incognito,
Al Green, Donny Hathaway, Prince, Cornell Dupree, Jeff Beck
and others.
Flipside is a Chicago-style pizzeria across the street from
the main entrance to Appalachian State University in Boone.
Friday’s concert will start around 10 p.m. and all attendees
must be 21 with proper ID. For more information, call Flipside
