The High Country United Way announced its 2009-10 revised funding
applications for non-profit agencies or governmental units serving
clients in Watauga and Avery counties.
Agencies requesting funding must attend a meeting on Friday,
March 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the Agriculture Conference Center,
252 Poplar Grove Road, Boone. A continental breakfast will be
served. Agencies will receive a copy of our revised application
as well as the latest update on this year’s campaign efforts
and also have the opportunity to network with other agencies.
