Registration under way for
WAC Summer Arts Camp

The Watauga Arts Council is still accepting registrations for its Summer Arts Camp, featuring Missoula Children’s Theatre, which will take place June 22-27 at Watauga High School.

The Arts Camp is open to rising first through rising 10th graders and features workshops in storytelling, music, improvisation, the visual arts and more.

A featured highlight of the arts camp is a production of Beauty Lou and the Country Beast, which children will rehearse throughout the week and then perform for the community on Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27.
Registration is $150 for the first child (which includes two tickets to the final production and a complimentary DVD) and $125 for each additional child in a family. A limited amount of scholarships is available for families in need. There are still a few spots open, and interested parties are encouraged to register soon.

To register for Summer Arts Camp, or for more information, visit www.watauga-arts.org or call the Watauga Arts Council at (828) 264-1789.
