Watauga County Farmers’ Market will be celebrating
Herb and Plant day on May 23 with the music of The Sheets Family.
Deborah Jean and Randy Sheets and daughter Kelly
are well known for their tight harmonies and are listed in the
Blue Ridge National Heritage Directory.
Watauga County Farmers’ Market is now open
for the 35th season with plenty of fresh local salad greens,
organic asparagus, local cheeses, free range eggs, local meats,
plants for one’s gardening needs, as well as a fine selection
of mountain crafts.
The market is located at Horn in the West in
Boone, accessible by turning next to First Citizens Bank on
N.C. 105 Extension and going to the top of the hill. For more
