The first-ever Seersucker and Sundress Cocktail, an event
benefiting Hospitality House, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8,
from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock.
We are very excited about the opportunity to help with the
efforts of Hospitality House, said Greg Jung, group coordinator
for event organizers NC Mountain Boys (and Girls).
Many residents and visitors of the area dont realize
that there are over 1,000 homeless individuals on a given night
in the seven mountain counties that Hospitality House serves.
We are hoping that this event will help raise awareness, as well
as funds, to assist the mission of Hospitality House.
Guests are encouraged to dress in seersucker attire for men and
sundresses for women.
Proceeds from the ticket sales $35 per ticket will
go directly to the Hospitality House.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.seersuckerandsundress.com.
Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Meadowbrook Inn,
located at 711 Main Street.
